If you're the highest bidder when the auction ends, you win. You'll see it under 'Won auctions' on your dashboard, ready to pay.
Pay through our secure gateway. Your money is held safely by BidCeylon and is not released to the seller until you confirm you've received your item.
The seller ships your item and adds tracking. You can follow its status right from your dashboard under 'My Purchases'.
Once your item arrives and you're happy, confirm receipt and leave a review. This releases the payment to the seller. If something's wrong, you can open a dispute instead.
When a buyer pays, the money is held safely by BidCeylon — not sent to the seller yet. It's only released once the buyer confirms they've received the item. This protects both sides: buyers get what they paid for, and sellers know the money is secured before they ship.
Anti-sniping: a bid in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 10 minutes, so last-second sniping can't win unfairly.
A 5% commission is deducted from the final sale price when an item sells.
Sellers can cancel a live auction but must give a reason, and all bidders are notified. After an auction ends, it can't be cancelled.
If an item doesn't arrive or isn't as described, buyers can open a dispute and our team steps in.
